Job Description
AECOM Technical Services, Inc. has multiple openings for a Construction Project Manager II to be based in Arlington, VA.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Specialize in project and program management for construction projects delivering engineering, design, and consulting services to a variety of clients.
  • Responsible for scrutiny of engineering construction documents, construction documents controls, ensuring contract compliance, distribution of construction documents, processing of transmittals and Requests for Information (RFIs), assisting on project controls-related duties, and developing and writing scopes of work. Prepare engineering related calculations.
  • Develop engineering estimates and construction schedules.
  • Develop monthly and weekly reports, and materials take-offs.
  • Assist with field inspections and construction administration, observation, and management of site activities.
  • Review and validate industry standard guidelines for materials testing and inspection as specified by the contract.
  • Responsible for daily observations of field personnel performing tests and inspections.
  • Monitor the implementation and quality of work to ensure compliance with the specifications.
  • Analyze tests and inspect assessment results. Identify risks, opportunities, and mitigate potential problematic situations before they occur.
  • Ensure that projects are being carried on in accordance with the contract and industry stipulations to deliver and guarantee an outstanding quality of work, and make sure that the available resources are adequately allocated to achieve maximum effective results.
  • May telecommute.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
Position also requires completion of a university-level course/research project/internship/thesis, or 6 months of experience in each of the following:
  1. Reading construction drawings and specifications;
  2. Standard engineering techniques and procedures;
  3. Building compliance and safety regulations;
  4. Understanding of industry standards;
  5. Delivering cost estimating support for diverse projects; and
  6. Providing processing and controlling construction documents
Additional Information

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $92,869.86 - $171,809.24.
